Bird sculpure
The black Eames bird sculpture is inspired by the Eames house bird ornament and this striking home decor piece will look stunning on the mantelpiece, windowsill or table.
The bird has a fascinating story. It was originally created in 1910 by Charles and Edna Perdew as a bird decoy for hunters. The famous designers Charles and Ray Eames bought one and in the 1950's incorporated it into some of their advertising, creating an iconic figure for a new audience.
This replica is created in solid resin with a semi-gloss finish and sits at 27.6cm tall.
